The Great Cornard Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is being prepared by the Parish Council and local community. When complete it will be used to help guide and shape future development in the plan's area.

Reg 05 - Area Designation (15 Feb 2024)

On 31 January 2024, Great Cornard Parish Council submitted an application to define the boundary of their Neighbourhood Plan. Under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), Babergh District Council confirmed the designation of this NDP on 15 February 2024. A notice to this effect, a copy of the application, and a map identifying the NDP area are published below:

Responsibility for preparing the Great Cornard NDP now rests with the parish council. Further information may be published on the parish council's website.
