From Monday 15 April 2024 this car park will be for residents permit holders only.

Residents who live in the following streets in Sudbury can apply:

• Cross Street
• Mill Lane
• Mill Hill

Permits cost £25 and are valid for 12 months.

Each qualifying address can purchase up to two permits.

Only residential addresses are eligible.  Business addresses do not qualify for a permit.

Spaces within the car park will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  A permit does not guarantee a space in the car park.

Apply for a residents permit

You will need your Council Tax bill reference number to apply for a residents permit.

When you apply, you will need to upload one of the following forms of documentation:

• Council Tax bill
• Utility bill
• Bank statement
• Letter from the Department for Work and Pensions

Apply for a Mill Lane residents permit

Your application will need to be approved before your permit is valid. Please do not park in the car park until you receive notification that your permit has been approved.  Payments will not be processed until the permit is approved.  If your application is rejected, your payment will not be processed.

Permits are digital (like road tax) and are managed in an online MiPermit account.  Permits are assigned to a vehicle registration mark, but this can be changed at any time in your online account.
