East Bergholt Conservation Area Consultation

Babergh District Council consulted on proposed updates to the conservation area in the parish of East Bergholt. The proposed updated boundary designation was supported by a Conservation Area Appraisal (CAA) document that defines and evaluates the special interest of the study area and identifies issues and opportunities within the area to better reveal its significance.

The consultation ran for a four week period, from Monday 11 May 2026 to Monday 8 June 2026.

A public meeting to discuss the proposed updates was held in East Bergholt at The Lambe School on Saturday 23 May 2026.
