Changes to Babergh cabinet

Cllr Jessie Carter is stepping down from her position as Babergh District Council’s Housing portfolio holder after two years.

She has decided to step down for personal reasons, but will remain ward councillor for Sudbury North West.

Cllr John Ward, as leader of the council, will assume responsibility for the housing portfolio temporarily ahead of a further announcement regarding Cllr Carter’s replacement at the next full council meeting on 24 June.
