Research and Insight
Across the Council, we use primary and secondary research to better understand the challenges and opportunities within our district and to ensure the needs and the views of our residents are recognised.
The Strategic Policy team support the Council's research and insight activity through:
- Establishing and leading a research, evaluation and insight programme, working alongside our extended leadership team
- Commissioning and managing our annual resident survey
- Maintaining a corporate evidence base to support the Council's outcomes framework
- Helping services to evaluate what works and to prototype new ways of working
Research reports
Our annual State of the District reports tell the story of our district through data and insight. They provide commentary on the strengths and challenges within Babergh, and how these are changing over time.
