Online payments and planning portal scheduled maintenance
Due to scheduled maintenance from 5pm Thursday 2
April to 6pm Monday 6 April we will be
unable to take payments through the website for Council Tax, Business
Rates, Rent, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Invoices.
Payments can still be made by telephone, using our Automated Telephone
Payment system by calling 0300 123 4000.
The planning search page will also be unavailable and if you need
to submit a planning comment in this time, please email planning@baberghmidsuffolk.gov.uk with
the case reference in the subject.

This car park was formally known as Station Road Car Park.

Kingfisher Leisure Centre customers will be able to register a 3 hour free stay at the leisure centre reception.
Blue Badge parking
Blue Badge holders can display their Blue Badge and time clock as an alternative to a ticket during ticketing hours for a free 3-hour stay, provided that a valid blue badge is also on display. Additional time can be purchased.
Motorcycle parking
Normal restrictions apply. Please use MiPermit to obtain a stay.
Friars Meadow Car Park has facilities for electric vehicle drivers to recharge their vehicle. The charge point which is clearly marked close to the entrance to the Kingfisher Leisure Centre and is operated by Plug n Go. These cost 48p per kWh (plus a 50p plug in fee).
Normal car parking rules apply; a ticket or MiPermit digital stay is still required when charging.
Safer Parking Award
This car park has achieved the standards of the Safer Parking Scheme and is granted The Safer Parking Award. This demonstrates the facility provides Police accredited parking and has quality management, effective surveillance, appropriate lighting and a clean environment.
