Cooling towers

If you are responsible for non-domestic premises, you must let us know about the installation of any "notifiable devices" (cooling towers or evaporative condensers), except where:

• they contain water that is not exposed to the air
• the water and electricity supply are not connected

You need to let us know within one month of the installation.

This is as per The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992.
