On Thursday 27 October 2022, a Neighbourhood Plan Referendum took place in Boxford. Electors were asked:
Do you want Babergh District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Boxford to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
Results were as follows:
