The Bildeston Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is being prepared by Bildeston Parish Council and the local community. When complete, it will be used to help guide and shape future development in the plan's area.

Reg 05 Area Designation (3 Nov 2025)

On 13 October 2025, Bildeston Parish Council submitted an application to designate their parish as a neighbourhood plan area. 

Under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), Babergh District Council confirmed this area designation on 3 November 2025.

Our designation notice, a copy of the application, and a map identifying the NDP area are published below:
