What we are doing
The Councils vision is to build ‘great communities with bright and healthy futures that everyone is proud to call home’. Wellbeing is one of six key priorities to help deliver this vision.
Our health and wellbeing projects include:
- Dementia awareness and activities
- Canine Companions to reduce social isolation
- Community Cuppas
- Holiday activities and food for children on benefit related free school meals
- Youth Social prescribing
- Health Equity
- Cost of living support
