
Mid Suffolk District Council has agreed to sign up to the Woodland Trust’s Charter for Trees, Woods and People.
Mid Suffolk District Council has unanimously agreed to support the Government’s proposals to introduce a plastic bottle return scheme.
Following Councillor Jennie Jenkins’ resignation as Leader of the Council at the Full Council meeting on Tuesday 19 December 2017, the Deputy Leader of the Council, Councillor Jan Osborne will now act as Leader of the Council until the Full Council resolves to appoint a new Leader. This appointment will take place at the extra-ordinary meeting of Babergh's Full Council at 5.30pm on Thursday 4 January 2018.
Once the festive fun is over, residents across Babergh and Mid Suffolk are reminded that they can recycle their Christmas tree at a number of convenient collection points across both districts.
Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils have today, Monday 11 December, launched a public engagement on the future of local government in the two districts.
